It's molecular formula & molecular weight is C44H69NO12 & 804.02 g/mol respectively. It's approved by the United States, The Food and Drug Administration, and also approved by the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

Tacrolimus also known as Immunosuppressants.It is commonly used for prevention of rejected transplanted organs. Primarily used to prevent the body's immune system from attacking and rejecting a transplanted organ, such as a kidney, liver, or heart. Tacrolimus solution, is sometimes prescribed for dry eye maladies in the eyes of domestic cats, dogs & horses. It's been studied for use in human eyes.

Mechanisms:-

It works by inhibiting the activity of certain immune cells called T lymphocytes. T lymphocytes are involved in the immune response and can target and destroy transplanted organs as if they were foreign invaders. Common side effects includes high blood pressure,tremors.
